Sydney Book Launch

Pip, Mardi and I went to Sydney on the weekend for the launch of this book.

It has been produced by the team from Gardening Australia 

as a result of an overwhelming number of responses to a competition 

they held last year, in which they asked readers to send in photos 

of their chicken 'palaces.'

 We met Costa at the launch.

He was great and right on Pip's wave length.

(Mine too actually!)

It was fun having a laugh and generally being silly.

Being a history and architecture buff I thoroughly enjoyed Sydney's juxtaposition of old and new.

  Framed and famed views.

 The shadows of past ghosts.

The company.

The special treatment we received from The Marriot management 

who sent us complimentary champagne and lollies 

all thanks to Pip and her sparkling shoes, 

her non stop talkative nature and honesty about jumping on the beds!
